Communications Committee

The Publicity Committee is responsible for the following areas:

1.      Creating Monthly Calendar

2.      Creating and publishing Monthly Newsletter

3.      Follow-up E-mail communications to membership, vis a vis workshops, meetings, etc.

4.      Recording of Monthly Meeting’s Minutes.

5.      Dissemination of information to membership and outside interested parties

6.      Distribution of ‘tear-off’ publicity forms to Public Libraries

7.      Presentation of PSG of Cherry Hill at weekly PROS Workshop in the Mr. Ephraim office.

8.      Working with the Job Development Committee in identifying new opportunities for employment.

9.      Reporting on publicity campaigns and \ or issues to the Executive Committee.

10.  Identifying new members who have talents needed to support the group.

11.  Following the overall ‘business process’ of PSG and making recommendations to the Executive Committee where and when changes are necessary.

Communication Chairperson \ Co-Chairperson

The Communication Chairperson(s) will:

1.      Act as the focus person for all communication for the group. 

2.      Sees to it that the responsibilities of the committee are performed in coordination of the other committees. 

The primary responsibilities include the creation of the monthly newsletter and calendar, as well as, “policing” the office bulletin boards of superfluous and out of date information.
